God reads our hearts and always knows our needs. Often, even while we are speaking, the desired blessing is on the way.

Daniel was still praying when Gabriel flew swiftly from God’s throne with the answer he needed (Daniel 9:20–23). Prayer is faster than the internet! Even while we are asking, God’s power and love can bless, to praying souls He often grants more than they can express.

So today, we pray for the Lord to bless us and those we love and grant all of us the strength and courage that is needed for today. And (there is always an and) that He examine our hearts and grant us what we need but failed to mention—because so many times we are hesitant to really ask for what we need, but He knows already. What an Awesome God.
