I don’t know where she comes up with them, but Diana always finds the right gift. The gift she gave me was just a simple saying on a rock with a cross: “Only God can turn a Mess into a Message!” Yep, she nailed it. We have a mess on our hands. The mess could be our job, our bills, our health, our relationship with others—how did all this get so messed up? But we continue to press on, we continue to pray, we continue to give praise, we continue to send the Message that our God is the Mighty God, and He will deliver us—always, even when we are at the darkest of times.

God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. And so we need not fear even if the world blows up, and the mountains crumble into the seas. Let the oceans roar and foam; let the mountains tremble! The Commander of the heavenly armies is here among us! He, the God of Jacob, has come to rescue us!

So today, we Praise You, Lord. You are our rescuer, You who turn defeat into victory, You who turn water into wine, You who turn the lame into the healed, You who turn death into life, and You who turn messes into messages—You are our God! We pray, Father, that whatever the situation we find ourselves in today that You use us and the situation to send a message of Your Greatness and Your Glory.
